Help, I need the sidewinder 4.0 software!!

I've got a USB Sidewinder pad that technically works, but won't do diagonals and a few other things. Someone suggested that I get the 4.0 version of the software, but it cannot be found, even on Microsoft's site. I have found a few 4.0 versions, but they're only for the joystick and/or wheel.

Does ANYONE know where I can find this updated driver,or maybe have the latest CD and would be willing to send it to me?

My Sidewinder works with XP Pro. All directions. I would check your controller and make sure that you have the right "type" of sidewinder selected.

Unfortunately no software exists for the Sidewinder gamepads for anything later than win98se. I searched high and low as its completely stupid that they stopped supporting this gamepad yet still sell it. Your diagonals should work without needing the software however. The software is just important if you want to be able to do your own button/macro mapping.

The diagonals work in everything but my Emulators. I suppose the problem may lie within in the emulators, but I've tried quite a few with the same result.
