HELP! i need the beep codes for the Asus P2L97 MB

my mom's computer is acting up, the computer runs but the monitor doesn't show anything (little light is yellow, not green). there's one long beep followed by three short ones. i think it's something wrong with the vid card, but i'm not sure. any help is appreciated, thanks!

Yup...that's the code for Video Card error.

so does this mean i need a new vid card? or could there be something else that's wrong?

Try to remove the card, inspect contact points, maybe clean it with alcohol before putting it back and try again.
