Good luck so far with kt7 and k7t pro. Though I ahve come across some USB problems with the ABIT baord. If you don't need raid, then I would look at the MSI k7t Pro2 board. Extremely stable board.

My Abit board has been flawless. The K7T Pro 2 looks really nice though. Also depends on your overclocking needs.

i like my A7, it's a nice board, but i would like the raid ability the abit board lets you do if you get the raid model.

I would stay away from the A7V (I wish I would have). Go with the MSI board, if I could find someone to by my A7V I would buy the MSI. Heck there are web board JUST for the A7V alot of bugs.

Icy having a forum to help people doesnt mean anything. However the 1004 BIOS for Asus is bugged and causes alot of lockups for alot of people. The new 1005 Beta works great as does 1003.

The K7T PRO 2 has been flawless in more than 600 delivered systems that i have sold by now (QC by myself on every one) so if you want a board that is rock stable, HQ, then opt for the K7T PRO 2. The KT7 is one board i would not recommend, if you need the RAID, get a separate Adaptec IDE RAID controller that can do RAID 5, no data is worthless enough to deserve IDE RAID 0.

If it could wait maybe you should wait for a good ddr board. Otherwise I would pick the msi k7t pro2 hands down.

I agree about the MSI K7T PR02 ,BTW I use the MSI K7T PRO & it`s the best board I have ever purchased,(was going to buy the ASUS A7V),anyway the PR02 for overclocking is the best.
Btw just a quick note all my boards have been Intel based apart from this one) & I`m seriously impressed with my MSI K7T PRO board no BSOD ,or lockups etc this is a great board.

<< where can i pick up an msi k7t pro2? also, how is this board coupled with a Radeon 64MB? >>

The board has no probs with the Radeon. The only probs with the Radeon is it's lousy W2K drivers, which will probably be resolved soon.
