help, I need a netbook!

I am looking into getting a netbook and completely lost on the specifics. I am going to be travelling for six months. I need something small enough to fit into my purse which is why the netbook seems like a great option. My main uses of the netbook would be e-mail, facebook, and skype. I want the best bang for my buck. Can someone please help me narrow down the search?!?!
 
I just recently got my wife a mini 1012 off the delloutlet, after coupon code I got one with the 1366x768 screen, broadcon decoder, 6cell battery, and 250gb hard drive for $280. With 2gb of ram its very nice. Though personnally i would like to get a latitude 2110 with the N470 processor and the 1366x768 screen, its a bit thicker and heavier though than the 1012.
