HELP! I need a favor....

I need to find some kind individual with a spare IBM GXP (any capacity will do pretty much)HDD that they'd be willing to loan me for some cable testing I'm doing for an article/how-to. I can't release the article until I have run some tests on a 7200 RPM ATA/100 drive.

I PROMISE that I will not damage the drive, and will replace it if some "Act of God" screws it up! I am ABSOLUTELY trustworthy... You can ask around if you like....most of the "old guys" should recognize my name.

I'll pay shipping BOTH ways and give the drive provider a credit in my article.

I'll vouch for cautery, he's a good guy and was trusted with Anandtech's RC5 Team's WarpCore project a while back. It involved many people sending him computer hardware (and cash for buying hardware I believe) for the purpose of building computers solely for cracking RC5 for Team AnandTech.

Cautery, you may want to post your Heatware if you have it.
