I have been trying for the last 2 days to get a driver for a Diamond Savage 3D 2000 PCI video card. It looks to me that Diamond is no longer around as their webpage will no longer load. I've also tried Windrivers and other popular driver sites and all they do is point me to the unloadable Diamond website.
If anyone knows of any other driver sites or actually has the drivers for this Dinosaur I would really appreciate it....thanks

Have you tried going to S3? I heard also that someone has some "unity" drivers for S3 cards.... I'll check it out.

I went to your "try this" site...no drivers there...but thanks for the help!!

No problem dude.... I know how you feel. Really, I do. I own the Diamond Viper II (Savage 2000) and it gives me fits. I'd upgrade the card before I'd go through TOO much trouble with all of this. If any s3 archive drivers don't work or if that "unified" drivers don't work, get a new card. I'm going for the big boy, Geforce3 and I don't want to deal with drivers issues anymore. :)

It's hard to get the Viper II to run any games, especially new ones. Pain in the ass!

Good luck and tell me how they work out.

I already have a very good video card in the computer I use most often, 64mb Geforce2 GTS and I have it overclocked as well and it kicks butt!!!....this was for a very low end P100 system that I had sitting around. I also had this Savage 3d 2000 sitting around too, so I thought I throw it into that system and give it to charity. I got it to work, but it keeps wanting to add the VGA Standard video adapter along with the Savage card. So I thought if I had more up to date drivers it might kick out the standard VGA settings....but I decided to leave it as it was and and just disable Standard VGA adapter. It seems to work just fine....again thanks for the help
