Help! I have Xupiter.com crap on my Windows XP explorer and I can't get rid of it!

I don't know how I got this explorer extension on my computer. There is a new taskbar and when i mistype a domain name i get redirected to xupter.com. I never installed/authorised any Xupiter sh!t. I checked my control panel, add/remove programs there is no Xupiter thing there or any new item i can point out. I tried using Adaware latest version but it's still here! I even found the Xupiter directory under program files and deleted all the files i could. i am still being redirected to Xupter site when I mistype, can anyone help?? I hate that companies can do this with impunity. why the fu<k is windows XP PRO still letting this happen???????

try searching your registry for "xupiter" and deleting all fragments. Be sure to make a backup copy of your registry first, though.
