Help!!! I have been banned from Napster

I have tried to reinstall and use different user names but I get the ban from Metallica. Is there any work around for this? I know it has to be a registry entry or something.

There is a workaround, but I don't know what it is. At work, we were discussing this and a friend of mine had been banned. He was able to use some prog that allowed him to create a new user name.

there is some way around it. I seem to remember there being something about how to get around it in this month's 2600 magazine. might wanna pick that up if it might help

Do a "search" on all forums using 'Napster' or 'banned' as a keyword. It was just discussed recently and there is a patch to fix it.

Of course, you could always format and install your O/S again.

I got banned by Doctor Dre... Talk about lame. ONE SONG! And it wasnt even for me!

I fixed that link within 5 minutes of misposting it.

"Search" is always useful here. It looks like several people were recently banned and several different fixes were posted. I was just surprised I added it to my 'favorites'. (Precaution maybe?)
