for 3.2 just put the multiplier to 12x

anything above that requires voltage adjustments, id say 1.4-1.5v for 3.2-3.46ghz, 1.5-1.6v for 3.46-3.73ghz. After that you better have some amazing cooling, or your gonna have a 1000$ paper weight (maybe not even that since its pretty light)

I think 3.6 will be possible but not stable on air - I could reach 3.5 with a zalman 9500 but it hit too higher temps (80s) for my liking so have dropped it down to a conservative 3ghz until I can find time to install a Tuniq Tower or other decent cooler. 3.2 is definitely possible but as I don't have a striker I couldn't help you with the bios settings.

Heck I am getting a chilled water unit and that 3.6ghz may be tough for me. By calculations that may translate to over 200watts of heat to dissipate for the cpu alone. that would stress most water cooling and I know of NO air cooling that is going to be able to handle that...

I have a Ninja with an aftermarket 100cfm 120mm fan (better then the typhoon) and at 3.2ghz w/ near stock volts under load I see temps 66-67c....When I bumped it up .03125v to get 3.3ghz I started to see 70-71c....with standard fan it was more like 76-77c.

To get above 3.2ghz you need top notch air to good water...IMHO...

I'm not a freak, but I can say that getting the new quad cores up to dual core overclocking speeds is very hard if not impossible. 3.2GHz can be done with a voltage increase.

3.6 is possible but as others have pointed out, its a temperature issue that prevents it from happening...

cooling manufacturers are starting to design for quad core such as the new apogee GT waterblock which has been shown to beat out the old apogee and even the top of the line swiftech storm...
