Like I said, i just got Koolance for this science fair thing of mine. Well, I have an Abit BE6-II raid, p3-600e on a slotket, ibm 75gxp, 512 mb ram pc133 cas3 (1 infineon and 1 micron), guillemot geforce sdr, and windows 2000. When i try to go high, (ie 140x6=840), winnt won't boot up, and it says that my ntoskrnl.exe is corrupt. But when I up the voltage to 1.7, it is alright. Also, when i go too high, (ie 901), it does the same thing, but voltage tweaks don't help. Then i take my ram out, and notice that it is burning to the touch. Do I need pc150 to support these bus speeds? Also, am i supposed to see water actually flowing through these tubes?
One other thing is that my floppy hasn't been working. Comp used to freeze when accessing, so i changed the cable. Now, win2k keeps telling me that i need to format the disk. I click OK, but then it says that it can't complete the format. Physical, or OS problem?
Lastly, do you think i should get a p3-700e flip chip so that i can reach a ghz? That would be nice. Does it matter whether or not I have OEM or retail?
Thanks for your help.
