I used an app to do it, I can't remember the name of the app. I did it so it would quit bugging me to upgrade to kitkat. Now I can't access the Play Store.
Please help me to change the version back to 4.1.2.
Thank you.

Thanks
I tried that didn't work. It keeps telling me that there is a connection problem when I am not five feet from the wireless router.
Other apps have no problem with the wireless.

Have you tried finding a similar app and setting your version back to 4.1.2 to see if that works?

My guess is that it's obviously detected some problem where you're claiming to be 4.4.4, but because you're really not there's a mismatch some information you're sending and what Google expects so you get the generic connection problem error message.

- Did you clear data on the Play Store app via app manager? Try that.

- The mystery app probably changed the android version in your build.prop file. Are you rooted and do you have a file manager like Root Explorer. If so, go to system > build.prop and edit it. Find a text entry that is set to 4.4.4 and looks like the android version (like version.release=) and set it to the correct version.. Look through the whole file. Then save and do a full reboot.
