Help, I can't uninstall ATI MMC 8.5!

I pulled my ATI AIW 7500 to give to my brother, put in an old AIW 128 pro and am installing the drivers. The video drivers seemed to go ok, but I cannot completely uninstall the MMC 8.5 software. The control panel add/remove still lists it, but when I go to uninstall, nothing happens. Figuring it was taken care of, I went to install the MMC 7.2 software that goes with the older card that I now have, and it keeps telling me another verions of MMC exists.

Can anyone help me to completely wipe out the 8.5 version?

Why do you need the newer version uninstalled, isn't it backwards compatible with the older card? Check ATI's site for known bugs with that version of MMC.
 
I couldn't get it to launch with the non-radeon card. I thought I read that only up to 7.2 was supported on the AIW 128 pro.
