what makes you suspect the graphics card?

What kind of memory are you using?

Do you have another vid card or RAM from another computer you can swap out with to test?

Becouse I had problems with this graphic card before i reinstaled the system but on that time computer would jsut restart itself.

I have 1gb pc2700 DDR memory. (Modern Computers)

I am going today to ask friend for a graphic card to test it.

I did not mention I use dual monitor for graphic work.

Hmmmm....sounds like an overheating problem or a short related to a bad PSU or some other hardware as it's running too hot (but having to disconnect the PSU, appears to be more about something wrong with the PSU). Are you OCing your system? Especially the memory? If so you're probably getting a ton of memory errors. Lower the settings and see if you can load into Windows. If you can, chances are your system was getting way too hot.

Another idea is that your motherboard is ready to blow a capacitor or memory stick. It gets unstable like when something blows (especially getting a blank screen with no ability to reboot).

I started computer somehow. It had some errors.
One problem remain: If I turn of computer and start than is ok, but when I turn on in the morning it loads to some point and switches off. My room is very cold in morning so i suspect becouse is too cold it would not start. well I am not computer guru so if someone know what is going on I would apriciate. Bdw I dont know what is "OCing" or "PSU". if you know the link for this abreviations it would help

Thanks to everyone for help

OC means overclock - that is where you try and speed up your system above the manufacturer's recommended settings/speeds. If you don't know what it is, then the chances are you are not doing it.

PSU is the Power Supply Unit - you plug your computer into the mains, and the other part of the wire goes to the psu. It converts the voltages to those needed for the computer. It is very important to have a well known reliable brand like Tagan, Antec, Enermax etc

sounds like windows is corrupted... i would try a repair installation, and if that works, get your data backed up and format it. install windows, major service packs, windows update, chipset drivers, video drivers, other drivers, in that order.

if you think it's ram related, try running the sticks individually. put one stick in, try and boot, and if that doesn't work, try the other stick.

i doubt very, VERY seriously that heat is an issue here. it usually stems from an incorrectly installed heatsink, in which case the computer would be doing this from day one, or from overclocking, which he's not doing. just to be on the safe side, open up the side of the case and point a room fan into it when you boot. in the case of a short, there's nothing you can do except replace the hardware in question.

what kind of harddrives you using? i've had 3 WD drives go bad, well 1 at my house, 1 at my old job and 1 at my current job. it'd do what you said, it'd let you choose safe mode or normal yada yada, but won't let you go beyond that. i put in the XP disc and booted from that, and when it got to show me my partitions, it said UNKNOWN.

put your disc in and get to the partitions on your machine and see if it's reading as UNKNOWN.

also, do the normal format instead of the quick format. the normal format will check for bad sectors on your disk, and mark them as bad, so you'll be less likely to have a corrupt install.

Sounds like a bad Windows install, or a dead hard drive to me. POST seems to occur fine, but it's your Windows boot that is having trouble. Definitely doesn't sound like a power or heat problem.

power or heat would become very prevalent when running apps with high requirements, games, rendering, etc. this increases the amount of power that is needed, and will make weaknesses in the power supply more prevalent. heat also builds up, as the system is doing more work and putting off more heat.
