Help...I broke the cpu fan on my Pentium I 200MMX

I have a Pentium I 200MMX processor. The motherboard is an Asus P/I-P55TVP4.

I was cleaning the inside of my computer when the cpu fan broke off. From observation, it looks like there is a cpu chip, then a heat sink (resembles several small vertical pilars) and on top of that is the fan.

Where on earth can I find a replacement. Is this a Heatsink +CPU Fan Combination.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Currently I am running the computer with the case open and a house-hold fan over the CPU. I don't keep the computer on for more then 10 minutes and the heat sink feels only warm (not hot to touch after)

Cheers,

Kerry

Pentium MMXs don't run hot anyway...So don't bother finding a fan for it. I have used a P-MMX with only a small heatsink with zero problems a few years back.

Your local microcenter or fry's may have what you need.

You may want to check out fs/ft also I am s
ure that someone has something that will work.

About 3 weeks ago, the fan on my old PII 350 MMX died. Still running at 42 degrees running Seti@Home classic 24/7. Its very likely you don't need a fan.
