Hi,
I'll try to explain the problem as detailed as possible so I can get some help.
3 days ago my computer was working perfect, there were 0 problems.
However ever since 2 days ago my computer has become very unstable.
And finally this morning it stopped booting (bios screen doesn't even show up).
About 3 days ago when it started crashing, it would crash something like twice a day.
And it would only crash while I was playing games. The first day I started crashing it only crashed maybe twice. But the following days was when I really started having problems.
The next day when I go to turn on my computer it locked up on the windows login window right at startup. I rebooted maybe 3 times just to have the same thing happen over and over. So I logged into safe mode, here I checked the event viewer and it showed nothing. Since at first the crashes seemed to be caused by games, I removed all the video/audio drivers and rebooted, this time it allowed windows to start. I reinstalled drivers and rebooted and it was working fine for the rest of the day. However the next day I go to start up window and the same thing happens, so I go through the same thing (remove/reinstall drivers) and it worked again.
This time however I noticed that as soon as I tried to load up a game (everquest to be specific) it would lock up and just restart. Which was weird because I was able to run other games and surf the internet without crashing.
Now this morning, my system just wouldn't start. When I first turned it on I got an "overclocking failed" screen from the bios and it locked up. This screen has come up in the past and when I called Asus they told me to reset some memory (can't think of the name right now) which involved removing the onboard battery and moving jumpers then replacing battery. This worked and it allowed me to start the computer as usual. However this time it doesn't work.
Can anyone figure out what's wrong with my computer please? If you need anymore info about my computer let me know.
