I already have a 120mm blowhole in the top of the case, pulling air out, from a year or so ago, and I am now wanting to do some more. I am wanting to add a 120mm blowhole in the front bottom of my case pulling air in, which will require some bondo work, check the pictures to see what I mean. I am also thinking about adding some 92mm blowholes on the side at about the AGP/Processor area, though I do not know if I should have them blowing in or out. I will also be repainting this case, and possibly adding a window if I find the extra cash for the plexi and moulding. I also have a key switch that is going to become my new power switch.
This is not the worlds largest case, but does have 3cdrom bays, 2 external floppy bays, and 1 internal hard drive bay. I have to remove the 120mm fan in top of the case to remove the powersupply.

Please give me some input on what you think about these mods, or if I should just say forget it and wait until I can afford a new case. Also, should I fill in the blowhole in the top of my case with bondo and cut a new hole for the 120mm fan on the side of the case.

I am fixing to start on this project, though I really do need any advice you could give me on it.

Have you considered putting the 120mm on side of the case insead of the front? Looks like a pain in the arsh to put it in the front there.

I am thinking about painting the case black or dark blue, and I am not sure as to how good it would look with the blue piece on the front with the rest being a dark color?

Don't worry about the adding the 120mm in the front. If you want to keep a clean looking front (I would). Cut a nice 92mm hole in the front, where the circle of holes are now (not in the front cover). That would get you better air flow for the front 92mm fan and keep it quieter. Cut a larger air intake in the underside of the front cover (it will allow more air flow, but still not change the front case cover).
BTW, If you keep the case on a carpeted area, add something to get it up off the floor enough for good air flow through the newly enlarged front/bottom air intake.

As for the 92mm in the side of the case at the AGP/CPU area, GO FOR IT! That's the place where the major heat is produced. I'd go with a quiet 92mm or quiet 120mm fan there. As long as you're dumping fresh air in that area, you should drop your case temps a lot. That is the critical area to keep cool.
As long as you don't have your sound card OC'd to the max, it shouldn't be throwing off much heat at all ;)
