Help? HSF needed for newbie

I have an Athlon XP 1900+ runningwith an Asus K7V33 mobo. The fan that came in the retail cpu case is *way* too loud for me. I'm looking for something very quiet (it's in my bedroom). Someone suggested the SVC GC 68. I'd like to go with the Nidec stealth fan, but the webpage seems to imply that it won't be cool enough. Would the Stealth fan be okay?

Do you guys have any better suggestions? I won't be overclocking now, but I'd like to leave the option open for futre experimentation.

Thanks so much.

personally i would get a thermalright ax7 and use a low rpm 80mm fan

but basically you will probably want one of the hsf's that uses 80mm, not the 60mm fans... but if you want it quiet then make sure its not some high rpm fan 🙂

** edit ** just wanted to add that you might want to check out the adjustable speed enermax 80mm fan (you can adjust it to the speed that keeps the noise at a level you like) newegg.com has them for around $6 if i remember right

you may also want to look at the thermaltake volcano7
