HELP, how to install the copy of Windows 8 that came with HP computer to new custom

I recently built a computer and would like to use the operating system that came with my HP which is windows 8 however the key is in the bios which isn't a problem I can extract that however the install media for my HP checks my new bios for the key which isn't there as I don't know how to enter it, nor does it ask me to manually enter a key, it just simply reboots over and over each time it gets to the stage of checking my bios for a key. What can I do in order to be able to use the OS off my old computer on my new one??? I will only be using the license on the one and only computer (my new one)
