I have downloaded 2 versions of win/2003, listed below with the VOLUME id of the cd:

NRMEEVL_EN (Evaluation build 3790)
NRMEFPP_EN (????)

Anyone know what the ???? version is? Seeking to try and find the final release to install, but not sure what that is.

Win/2003 seems to fix this missing security tabs for files to give individual uses access. This was missing in XP/home and XP/pro.

I could limit individual users in XP pro.

Oh, and warez talk isn't typically appreciated here.

All a missing security tab usually means is that the drive is formatted FAT or FAT32 rather than an NTFS. A simple "convert drive: /fs:ntfs" is a whole lot easier fix than installing a completely new OS. Besides, do you realize that 2003 is not an updated version of XP? Does the difference between a server and workstation mean anything to you?

FYI, the missing security tabs are due to the fact that this XP machine is not connected to a domain controller. WIN/2K and WIN/2003 don't seem to have that problem, but it is one of the many flaws in XP (both home and pro).

Im not hooked up to a domain controller, and I have the security tabs.

I agree with blcjr, sounds like it's FAT32.
