Help: How to get windows media to show video on tv

My boss wanted me to get video to work from his computer to a tv. He wants to see live college football games that are only available on the internet on his tv. I bought an ATI AIW 2006 and installed it on his computer. I was able to set up the tv and I was able to use it as a 'clone' to what was on the computer monitors. Then I tested some videos from a website using windows media player and they worked on both the computer monitor and the tv. However, when I tried some videos from the college website that offers the service, it would show the video on the computer screen, but on the tv it was completely black (not the whole screen, but only the portion of WM player that was supposed to be showing the video) is there anyway I can get it to work? Any help is appreciated. thanks!

In Windows Media Player, choose Tools->Options->Performance->Advanced, check "use high quality mode". Providing the website is using the WMP ActiveX control that should fix it. If it's using QuickTime or RealPlayer I'm not sure. I think there's some option in the ATI overlay settings that lets you clone video/overlay. Somebody the other day had an ATI card doing the same thing and they said they found the option in ATI CCC but didn't say exactly what it was. "Theater mode" I think.
