Hello,
I accidently deleted my "Show Desktop" icon in the quicklaunch menu on the bottom left hand corner, I would like to know how to get that back please.
I have Windows XP Home.
Thanks.

Open up a command prompt and paste the following into it or paste into a batch file and run it.

set var="%appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\Show Desktop.scf"
echo [Shell] >%var%
echo Command=2 >>%var%
echo IconFile=explorer.exe,3 >>%var%
echo [Taskbar] >>%var%
echo Command=ToggleDesktop >>%var%

take a screenshot of your desktop
save the file to somewhere on your computer
make a link in your toolbar that points to the picture and label "show desktop"

=D

Seriously, yeah, what LS said.

Open up notepad, paste the following:

[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

file->save as, "%appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\Show Desktop.scf", save.

You don't need it... hit windows key + D on your keyboard.

or just right-click ANYWHERE on the taskbar and hit 'show the desktop' on the popup menu.
