Help: How to benchmark?

I recently just built the following system:

AMD Ahtlon 64 3000+
1.0 Gb RAM
Geforce 6800 GT
Dual 120gig 7200rpm SATA Hard Drives (Raid 0)
Microstart K8T Neo-Fsr Motherboard

Anyways, I'm interested to see how my system ACTUALLY performs in terms of benchmarks. How can I test my systems output and compare it to other systems / hardware combinations?
