I try to set a Peer to Peer network of my two computers at home. However, in one computer (Compaq, window 98 SE), when I try to add client for Micorsoft networks, I could not find it.

In that client adding page, when I click the Microsoft under Manufactures selction, there is only one option: Microsoft Family Log on. I can not see the option of client for Micorsoft networks. Could somebody tell me how to add this option? Thanks

wow, I have never heard of that before, try clearing out the network stack start>settings>control panel>network high light each component and remove, remember you have to remove in this order clients->protocols->adapters you cant just remove items by themselves, upon reinstallation of your adapter, (ethernet card) upon reinstallation, if use TCP/ip as your bound protocol, it should automatically install Client for MS networks, if it does not, try adding it as you are now. If you still cannot find it, you may try uninstalling communications as a whole (start->settings->control panel-> add/remove programs->windows setup)
and see if that solves it. I have never heard of this before though, keep us posted, I may have another Idea for you later...
