HELP!!! How do you mod a 2-pin fan to a 3-pin or 4-pin fan?

How do you modify a 2-pin fan to a 3-pin or 4-pin fan? Are there any sites that show you or can someone explain it to me? Also, what parts are needed? And where is a nice cheap place to get them at? Thanks!

I'm assuming that your fan is a 12V one. the easiest method woud be to splice the cables onto another connector, yellow wire being 12V & black ground 0V!
