I copied the file from my Soyo CD to my D: partition. I run it there and a DOS screen pops up and goes away, then a file is created, it says:
Error Number: (440)
Message: Ghost cannot run on Windows NT.
Please boot your system into Dos and then run Ghost.

I've tried accessing it in Safe Mode Command Prompt and it says it won't work on NT.

Help please.

You cannot run Ghost from within Windows, it must be run from DOS, basically install the Ghost from the CD then use the "Boot Disk Wizard" to create a bootdisk to run ghost from.
Remember that you cannot copy an NTFS drive to an NTFS drive, so if you plan to backup you need to make sure you have a drive you can run too.

NM, I got it to work. Just right click on the floppy drive, format, create MS-DOS boot disk. Then copy the ghost.exe over to the floppy. Restart the computer with floppy in. Run ghost and it pretty self-explainatory. BTW, I copied NFTS RAID to NFTS IDE, i'm on my 80GB Barracuda IV right now. ;) So quiet.

They are very fast, and very quiet. I couldn't tell the difference between it and my RAID 0 drive in Max Payne or office programs. If you have a Fry's near you, you can get it for only $90 or $100 after rebate. Check the hot deals forum.
