Help! How do I track down lost/missing mail?

I just moved to New York City, and it seems that my mail is definitely not arriving at my place. Im not tracking a trade or anything, but I am not receiving my bills, an order from crucial memory, and a letter from a friend.

The guy at the frontdesk doesnt know what to do, he sorts the mail for everyone in the building and signs for their packages. I guess I could visit the post office, but what can I do?

I live in the 10036 zip code.
