Can somebody give me a cheap alternative or site for me to travel to England, specifically BHX (Birmigham) from TPA (Tampa, FL) without paying like $800 for tickets!!! Anytime from now till like August 22 or something. WTF??!?! Why are tickets so high?
oh yea, and times are REALLY flexible cuz im doin ABSOLUTELY nuthin ova da summa!

Take a boat? go to priceline, and the other ticket masters. Also search southwest type places that don;t use priceline typ eplaces.

It is pricey befcause of hte distance traveled and the season.

Pretty much. I asked a similar question last year, and found out there is no alternative. Either suck it up, or don't go.

If I were you I'd go with priceline since arrival and departure times don't seem to matter to you. With a max of 1 stop over you can't go wrong. Just go in there pick your airports and your dates and put in a low price. Like 200 or 300 dollars roundtrip. Always start LOW and move your way up at $10 or $15 increments until it gets accepted.

Used priceline once before and got from Miami to New York for 80 bucks roundtrip 2 days before I was heading out. No stop overs luckily and departure and arrival times weren't too crazy. Landed in NY at 5 pm and got back to Miami at 8 pm.

Priceline is your best bet if money is an issue and time is not.

goto ebay and search 😛 ...how about low price airlines...have u considered ship travel? Purchase a ticket from other coutries (Inida?). Much cheaper in the 3rd world. virgin atlanitc costs $500 from newyork to heathrow.

talk to a travel agent. They can help. They know all the tricks to get a low fair (staying over saturday, flights that need people, etc)
