i need to upgrade my bios and i have downloaded the files from the manufacturere (one .exe file and one .bin file). how do i use those to flash my bios?

i checked the website and even shot some emails back and forth. they told me what to do once the boot disk has been used but never told me how to make a boot disk. i also cant seem to find any info on how to make a boot disk for XP pro.

for a boot disk with xp, put you floppy in the drive then in my computer , right click the floppy icon>format & choose create ms dos startup disk!

Dude if you don't know how to make a boot disk you shouldn't be flashing your BIOS.

However if you still think you need to then RTFM. I'm sure your mobo manuf. has a manual with lots of nice pics and crap to guide you through it. Not to mention the fact that alot of manuf.'s now offer utilities to flashing your BIOS from within windows.
