Ok, so I got this Ice Mug from Old Navy, I'm supposed to remove the rubber seal to fill it with water so I can stick it in the freezer, but for the life of me, I cant get the rubber seal off. There's literally no tab to pull, it's completely flat. I tried a tweezer and ended up ripping the seal - had to exchange it for another one, but I'm sitting here doing some research before I even touch it.

Please help this civilian enjoy his ice cold beer with this awesome ice mug.

Never seen on you have to fill yourself. Most have a alcohol like solution in it that prevents it from freezing.

Wouldn't you risk the cup cracking when the water expands from freezing?

Turn it up side down, and pop it in the freezer. There is already liquid in the mug's chamber which can freeze without damaging the cup, to keep your drink cold, once you use it.

Gotta be smarter than the cup?

I've owned several of those over the years, and EVERY ONE has been pre-filled with a solution instead of being filled with water.
