Help!! How do I connect to a newsgroup? I just downloaded a free newsreader.

I'm trying to connect to alt.binaries.howard-stern, but when I enter in the address the reader does'nt seem to be able to connect to the address. Can anyone show me what I need to do?

Enter the name or ip of your usenet server, then update your list of newsgroups, then download the headers of that group.

Yup, you need to subsribe to some newsserver somewhere. Your ISP should have instructions for this. There is a free newsreader in Netscape and a freebee at linky.
