Hi Everyone,
I have just started building my first computer and everything was going pretty well. However, I pulled the mobo out if it's protective bag and the I/O ports on the back of the mobo do not match the standard Antec case I/O panel. My Asus board came with an I/O panel - how do I remove the one already in the case? I started pulling at one of the corners and it didn't seem to want to come up too easily. I figured before trying to muscle it out I would get some advice on how to do it right.
On another note - I purchased two 18 inch round IDE cables for two devices each. I need four devices total and only have two IDE channels. These cables are definitely not going to work because I cannot connect the slave and master together they are too far apart - I am going to purchase 2 36 inch round cables and that should do the trick. There is going to be a lot of slack in the cable though between the slave drive and the mobo - is there a safe way to tie together some of the slack on the cable?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
