I habe my dlink di614+ router wirreless connected ot the house, but to my room is a tad far, so it loses signal and connection sometimes. I bought adwl-800ap+ to extend the range. how ever the signal is excellent the interne
t doesn't work.


Is there something worng, is someone using the combo too. what macaddress do i put. I put the lan mac address, and i got an IP from the router, but nothing of internet.
 
Bump for help... I'm not familiar with the 800ap so can't tell you what to tweek. Can you see the other machines on the network?
 
The only thing I can do to help is recommend that this thread be moved to one of the hardware forums.
 
the exteder works, as I'm getting IP and everything from the router. However The internet is not working. Doesn't it extend also the internet?
 
ok, so i retuned the repeater, and bought myself a dwl-900ap+.

the signal i get now in my room is excellent, however i still can't get internet.

Why is the signal great, but the IP/internet signal still weak.
