i just had my new computer with xp 2200 and asus a7n8x deluxe running on winxp pro and nvidia drivers 2.03

everything was running smoothly, and i had just finished burning a cd using my liteom 52x burner and was going to burn another an when cdrwin screwed up on me, when i restarted my comp, post was successful, then the voice said "booting from operating system", right after that it said invalid system disk, and said replace disk... i cant understand why.. i restarted checked the boot settings, hdd0 was primary , still samething. everything was working fine.

only thing i can think of is that my subwoofer from logitech z-640 speaker system is next to my cpu and could have messed the hd? because i tried to see if winxp would boot from cd rom to re install .. and it recognized the hd.. so i think its still ok... i havent done anything yet.. i want to know what u guys think.... also the cpu of the computer im typing this message on is next to the new cpu... is that a problem..

what do u guys think went wrong?

Was there a floppy disk in the floppy drive, by any chance? If so, take it out and see if it was just trying to boot from a non-bootable floppy.
