First and foremost is to buy a Haynes or Chiltons manual for your vehicle, while they are not perfect and are not as complete as a factory manual but for the $10-13 you get a decent manual. The reason I stress this first is they give step-by-step instructions for changing out belts, pumps ect. What you want to do is read the section on what your trying to replace/repair to determine if it's within your skill range and if you have all the tools needed to complete the job. Nothing sucks worse than to have your car in a state of disassemble only to find out you will need a deep-well socket or other tool that you do not have on hand, now you hope to have access to another vehicle to go and get that tool/part/gasket/sealer. Since you have already started the job just Google it for videos and your sure to find some hits, good luck and remember to align the timing marks PERFECTLY before you start the re-assembly, if it's off by even one tooth you risk destroying your engine.
