im running on stock heatsink an fan. tested multiple RAMs but that doesn't seem to be the problem

FSB = 100mhz
CPU temp is about 40 C is that high?
80Gic WD "special edition" HD
512 Crucial Ram DDR PC2700

any help is much appreciated.

I am glad to see you found out the problem.Never would have figured that your PCI network card was causing you to crash.

I figured it out finally. it was a PCI card that I was using. A netgear 10/100 base Netowork Card to be exact. I tried other netgears and I have the same problem. I am yet to try a different brand NIC
THanks for the help
