just need some advice

ive just put together me new pc today and ive got a problem

p4 2.26b
epox 4g4a
256 corsair3000 cas2
sb live
gf4 4600

whenever i try to boot up the pc the machine turns on, i here a few drives in the pc spinup but theres no screen output, the standby light keeps flashing. ive tried moving the ram into all the slots on m/b a number of times buts still i get nothing.

ive plugged in me old crucial 2100 and everything woeks fine at ddr266

its running at 17*147 at the minute no probs but i cannot get the corsair to work??? any ideas as i think i got a good cpu here. have a fried the ram??
