HELP! Hauppauge WinTV2000 tuner app freezes after HT enabled CPU was installed

I just installed my 2.6c CPU and the WinTV2000 tuner app starts freezing after a minute or so. It never did this before when I had my 2.53b installed. It freezes even at stock speed. 3D games work fine however. I even tried the lastest driver and WinTV2000 app revision. Do you think an XP re-install would fix this? I didn't re-install my OS after installing the CPU. If anyone has experienced this or something similar and have found a solution let me know. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I just disabled HT in the BIOS and the app seems to work fine (no freezing). The thing is my CPU temp went up by 10 degrees Celsius with HT disabled. Dunno if that's a bug or not. Nevertheless I applaud Hauppauge for their nice work.
