Help: Hardware detection issue

Traveler

Senior member
I bought two Cisco Valet AM10 802.11n connectors.

I have a laptop windows 7 64bit and a desktop windows 7 32bit.
Both connectors work fine with the laptop.
But, none of them can be detected from the desktop.

The desktop only treats the Valet adapter as a USB storage.

I have tried used different USB ports with updated software from Cisco website. But, no adapter is detected on the desktop. Nothing is shown on hardware manager.

Note that the desktop has an ePCI 802.11b WIFI adapter and a USB SONY S-AIR wireless adapter installed. The desktop works fine with them, except for Cisco Valet AM10 connector.

Any suggestion?
