i usually leave my computer on for long periods of time, this drive is a maxtor btw, a 250 gig 7200 RPM PATA drive it holds all my "media files" etc...
when i woke up there was a menu asking if i wanted to format the drive... i said no and it kept popping up. now more than 3/4s of my music are gone, but they're still there becase i can play them thru winamp... it just doesnt show up on windows explorer.
soooo whats going on here? is it dying or overheating or what?
