Help Hard Decesion !!!!

sorry posted it blank by mistake .

I have a tough choice between these cases each is nice in its own way .

But for the prices of the above cases I have been thinking about buying this bad boy and mod it up 😎

right now I have this Aspire case which I bought from newegg for $ 50 with free shipping. I do have to admit I like my current case and it runs just fine
but now I have this need for something less flashy and classy like the ASUS ventoo black case or the Antec Case , but the gamer inside me demands something like the Thermaltake shark black case I am totally lost need some comparisons or personal experiences or feedback and thanks in advance😉

My Rig :

AMD 64 3000+ socket-939
Powercolor X800XL VIVO PCI-E
1 GB PC 3500 Kingmax
74GB WD raptor 10,000rpm SATA
160 GB WD 8mb, 7200rpm ATA(using SATA adapter)
Soltek SLk890-Pro 939
Sony DRU-710A dual layer dvd writer black
Samsung-Toshiba TS-H492A/BEBN CDrw/DVD ROM
GIGABYTE GH-PCU31-VH cooler
Vantec ''5.25 4 fan controller
HERMALTAKE Silent Purepower W0014RU ATX 480W PSU
cooling : 1 80mm vantec blu LED on top and another on side panel
one 120 mm thermaltake blue LED on the back and a vantec low profile 120mm on the front grill cooling my harddrives.

The Chenming full-tower is very large. It's so large you'd have a hard time finding IDE cables that would reach the top 5.25" bays, in fact, unless you resort to out-of-spec 36" ones. If portability is any concern, that one is the least portable. You get two fan-cooled HDD racks so you can have up to six drives with fan cooling, though. Our PDC is in one of these.

If you don't want so much flash, then how about a plain old SLK-3000B. It's sort of like what you have now, but no window. No PSU either, just throw your loot in there and you're done.

[*]the SLK3000B can hold more drives than the TX1050B, despite being smaller

[*]it features rubber mounting donuts for the drives

[*]you can cool five HDDs with a 120mm x 25mm front fan (which you have already)

[*]it comes with a 3-speed 120mm rear exhaust.

The main things I don't like about it are the side vents (would rather have none), lack of front audio or Firewire ports, and the door over the drives (removable, however).

The TX1050B uses 80mm fans in front, which will run louder for their airflow, and you can only fan-cool three drives. They are nice sturdy/heavy chassis.

That Asus case looks weird! 😕

So that's my ramblings, hope it helps 😀

The gamer in me also tells you that you'd be fine with the Thermaltake Shark case. Personally, I think it looks great, but a lot of people here can't stand any pre-modded case attempt, especially from Thermaltake (I remember the Xaser series :/). Seriously, about the look of the case, just take something YOU like. If you need some more feedback about the case, just check out the reviews from the case buyers of Newegg.

Edit: Just noticed your link for the TT Shark WAS from Newegg, so I guess you already knew about the reviews. Shame on me 😱.

The TT Shark is a well-made case, and does look okay. I've been tearing myself apart deciding whether I want a flashy case, or something that I can stand looking at day-in and day-out. The 120mm fans in the Shark are a benefit. The only problem is dust getting through the mesh on the side. Although this can be solved by using a dust filter, that may destroy some of the good looks that come from having the mesh in the first place.

Please, please, please, do not go with the Asus Vento. It is strange looking, and I bet that you'd get tired of seeing it on your desk pretty quickly. Also, all the plastic used is not good for thermal dissipation.

That Antec case suggested by MechBgon looks great. The rubber HD mounts are always a plus, and all 120mm fan cooling is great to have for quiet cooling performance.

I was googling for some IBM cases I do like IBM style in designing cases and other hardware and one Pic reminded me of an old passion of mine this beauty here its an AIX IBM unix machine I am talking about that tower with the sharp edges on the sides in the lower right corner of the pic. yes I would take that over an ASUS Vento, Antec SOHO or TT shark anyday. only if I can lay my hands on one, and If I was able to mount an ATX motherboard in it.
if I only had a clear detailed pic of that tower.

Hmm...did you consider the Sonata? If you are set on one of your choices, I'd choose #1. IT looks different and unique.

I still feel confused the ventoo is nice not too flashy nice design and minimal LED's only problem its all plastik I dont favour that , shark is all metalic and has a very aggressive lookbut does look a little flashy the Antec and the Chenming are nice and classy but one is expensive and the other is way too heavym, I like the functionality of the sonata but dont like the looks and the glossy feeling to it , sigh... I think my options suck...

Its time to turn to our friendly members for some miracelous suggestions plz...anyone

I'd take the Shark for its cooling potential. If you want the included power supply, that antec TX is a killer deal (comes with a SmartPower 500W) just as long as you put in another 120mm fan.

Do not get the Vento. I repeat, do not get the Vento, it's one of the worst cases around. Flimsy, overpriced, bad design...Asus makes some suburb motherboards and video cards but they definately do not excel in cases. The Shark is a nice case, a bit flashy but I kinda like how it looks (reminds me of that MacLaren Benz), and the Antec is also a nice case, albeit a bit old.

I recommend Antecs a lot and I'm a pretty big anti-TT rallier, but this time around I'll recommend that Shark case. 🙂

Case 2 bar none!

Case 1 is absolutely disgusting and retarded.

Case 3 is made by Thermaltake.

It's not old actually 😉. It's quite new. I'd get the TT Shark even though I usually don't recommend them. This case, and the Soprano are the only 2 TT's I can recommend (having seen them at Lanparties, they're gorgeous and they aren't that loud either)

Guys I have found the antec case that I want at the price that I like :Case

I like it because it doesn't come with the 500W PSU which I already hav (thermaltake silent POWER 480W)
so not having that 500W psu in the case saves me $ 60 which makes it right there in the price range of $ 80.
Also it comes with a clear panel instead of the regular panel in the higher series .
so what everyone think
