Help! Had bad overclock now computer restarts at Windows load screen

I overclocked more than my chip could handle and it didnt boot up into Windows, so I cleared the CMOS via jumper and turned the power switch off for a minute. I then powered back on and loaded the fail-safe settings in the bios and tried to boot into Windows. It then gave me the option to boot into safe mode, last know good config, or start windows normaly. I've tried safe mode and normal mode and neither will boot successfully into windows. Normal mode will go to the windows load screen and then restart.

System specs:
Athlon XP 2400+
Abit NF7-S V2.0
SLK-800(A)
Thermaltake SmartFan II
Maxtor HD
Lite-On DVD-ROM
512MB Kingston HyperX PC3000
Radeon 9500 Pro

What should I try to fix this?

You mean you switched the CMOS jumper BEFORE turning the system off? Or did you have it shut down with the ATX power switch, set the jumper, then turn off the hard switch on the power supply?

First just remove any PCI cards to be sure they're not an issue. If you've got a second video card handy, swap that in just to verify that's not an issue. If the hardware seems to be okay, then try repairing Windows.

Boot to the WindowsXP CD, go through Setup until it detects your existing Windows installation, and select the Repair option. You may have corrupted files during the overclock.

Were you increasing voltage for the overclock? How far above default did you go on clockspeed and voltage if you used that?
