Im purchasing a notebook for school/gaming and im having a hard time deciding between these two notebooks.
The specs for the Acer Aspire 1662WLMi can be found here:

The specs for the eMachines M6809 can be found here:

Ok so I actually already ordered the Acer but im thinking about calling back and switching. I think the Acer is a nicer looking notebook and it has a Radeon 9700 instead of a Radeon 9600 which wouldn't be as strong for gaming.
Im thinking about switching because I see soo much more support for eMachines notebooks with tons of forums with helpfull information and many more reviews on the net. It's hard to find a review of the Acer 1662WLMi.
Comparison
Acer E-Machines
3.06 P4 HT Athalon 64M 3200+
512ram w/ 2slots 512ram w/ 1slot
60gig 80gig
-multi card reader
-cracked hinge problems
9700 64mb 9600 64mb
PS. In the end what im weighing my option on most is the higher frames per second. This should be taken into large considering when understanding how im trying to decide.
