Help! Good deal or not!!!

i have talked to the guy and he has told me that he has a clean title and nothing is wrong with it. i cant go look at it till next week. is this a good deal or no? tips anyone?!

If it's not full of bondo or frame issues I would buy it, I love the fastbacks.

Probably not a terrible deal, unless the body is trash. But remember that those second gen fastbacks don't command nearly the dollars that the earlier ones do.

I would be suspicious that it has some issues hiding. Even if you're a 'car guy,' if you don't have experience checking out classic cars, take someone with you to look at is who does.

Top items to carry: flashlight, and a magnet with a piece of felt or something over it so it doesn't scratch the paint as you check EVERYWHERE.

Also, beware of anything 'too clean.' I'd rather see signs of age on the undercarriage than lots of fresh black paint.
