I just got a new Leadtek GF4 TI4400 today but I can't install it because it doesn't fit my Epox 8KHA+ motherboard! Darn! There are two problems that prevent me from seating the card. There are capacitors in the way & the agp clip is in the way of the Leadtek's massive heatsink.

pic of huge heatsink

I gotta return this card and get a new one that fits. I need advice from 8KHA+ owners about what brands of cards will fit!

I had the same combo as you did before. (Before I enrolled to college) I had an EPoX 8kHA and a Leadtek Geforce 4 Ti 4400. I remember that the board fits perfectly.

The Epox motherboard violates the atx specs for components near the AGP slot. It's a known issue that was discussed at great length when the GF4 came out. you'll have to try another brand for the Ti4400 to find one that works. Epox's "solution" for their problem was to remove the capacitors from the motherboard with a pair of pliers. What a way to cover their screw up.

zephyrprime, Epox recommends these ,taken from their site,

Below is a list of various GeForce 4 AGP cards that we have tested. This is by no means a complete list and it is meant only as a reference.

Elsa MX440 517
eVGA e-GeForce4 Ti4600
MSI Ti4600 8872
WINFAST Ti4600 A250 Ultra TD
Gainward Ti4600 ULTRA/750XP

Funny you`ve problems with the Leadtek and it`s on the list
 .

I believe the Ti4400 & 4600 GF4 cards are the same size ,except for different memory and core speeds.Only the 4200 model is smaller.
