Hello, hoping someone has an idea on how to get back into Windows xp to try and fix.
Can't start winxp. No Safe mode, No Last known working Configuration, no nothing. Just fails during boot.
Last thing I did in Windows that may have caused this. I was on Reddit, clicked on a link for an image link. The web page auto Opened Adobe Acrobat, then I got a virus warning. This has happened once before a few weeks ago. So I thought no more of this, and I uninstalled Acrobat. Of course it says, Changes will be completed with a restart. Well I didn't restart last night when I did that, just shut down when I was ready for bed. Starting up today, I see it won't.
I am in Ubuntu now posting this with dual boot. If i use the repair XP with the CD I am fairly confident that this way will remove Grub as the boot loader. So I may end up with no operating systems to boot. Then I'll be looking how to repair Grub :/
