You should post your inquiry to the General Hardware forum - they'll get you on track there.

When you post, make sure to answer the following in your post:
___________________________________________________________________
PLEASE when you POST threads asking for input on system builds tell us...

1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.

4. IF you're buying parts OUTSIDE the US, please post a link to the vendor you'll be buying from.
We can't be expected to scour the internet on your behalf, chasing down deals in your specific country... Again, help us, help YOU.

5. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.

6. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.

8. What resolution, not monitor size, will you be using?

9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Note that it is usually not cost or time effective to choose your build more than a month before you actually plan to be using it.

X. Do you need to purchase any software to go with the system, such as Windows or Blu Ray playback software?

My Pc Will be used to game, and browsing.
My budget is 700-800 dollars, excluding os/monitor
I will be buying parts from Toronto, Ontario Canada.
I will be purchasing from http://www.canadacomputers.com/ and http://www.tigerdirect.ca/.
I dont have a brand preference, I just want something good.
No I don't want to use current parts.
I would like to overclock, if I find out how, and I wouldnt mind default either, tell me more about this.
I will probably get like a 22 inch or 18 inch monitor.
I want to build it before Saturday, thank you!.

Hey man heres the deal. At the end of the day it is all personal preference. If you plan on overclocking and dont know how to overclock i would recommend AMD FX-4100. Its pretty basic (Fan boys will talk crap about it all day) but regardless games are not even being coded yet for 6 and 8 core processors so its just a waste of money for your first build. That processor is stupid easy to OC. Maybe grab a GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3 AMD 970 for your motherboard. That motherboard can hold up to 32gb of RAM(Memory). For video cards i love the GTX series. Like a GTX660, 660ti and above. Hope this helps man. Remember at the end of the day most of it is all personal preference. Some people like different things then others. Happy hunting

Well there is "personal preference", but there is absolute, measurable performance. Your video card choice I could agree with, but I dont think it takes a fanboy to say there are much better processors.

700.00 is kind of an in between price, but I would definitely try to find the budget for an i5. Failing that, on the AMD side, try to get an FX6300 or better.

Edit: BF3 is pretty demanding. It is one of the few games where the AMD FX8350 is pretty much neck and neck with the intel i5 3570k. Overall though the i5 is a better gaming processor over a wide range of games.

FX-4100 is already obsolete and its greatest claim to fame is that it can smash Core 2 Quads into oblivion. Its most nefarious property is that some Phenom IIs can outperform it in some benchmarks.

Piledriver (FX-x3xx) is much better than it and Intel's i5 Ivy Bridge is usually better than both.

@opening poster. We need to know the resolution you will be playing at. 1080p is more demanding than 900p, for example. This can affect how powerful a graphics card you need.
