I recently bought a cheap Absolute Multimedia outragous tnt2 ultra video card which is suppose to have a tv out, specifically s-video out, but the card doesn't have a s-video output. It has the monitor output, and some output similar to a ps-mouse or keyboard input. I was told that I might have to buy a convertor, to convert it from this Composition output to either s-video or rca. But I can't contact this company(which I would not recommend) and don't know where to get this piece. Does anyone know how to get this to work. Please help out this newcomer.

The thing that looks like a PS/2 connector IS an S-video output. That's what they look like!

You would need an adapter to convert it to composite video (which uses an RCA-type connector), which I think you can get at Radio Shack.

But if your TV has an S-video input (which looks like a PS/2 connector), just get an S-video cable from Radio Shack and connect that between your computer and TV.

Thanks for the responses, but it isn't a s-video. I have a svideo cord that I tried to plug in it, and they have different shapes. The s-video has a 4 metal wires in side the plug in and one plastic piece inside. This plug in on my video card has 6 holes for the wires and one for a plastic piece.

UHHH. I can't explain it, after reading that last sentence i am even more confused. I know it doesn't work though. I actually ripped out the a piece inside the s-video cord and made it fit into the plug in, but it still didn't work. If you look at a ps-mouse or keyboard and compare it to a s-video, the inside of the plug in is different. I think I need something to convert the two, but once again I don't know where to get it.

Some cards come with proprietary adapters that split the signal out to SVideo or composite. I'm guessing you need that adaptor. Might want to check their website to see if you need it.
