No I just want a job period. The one wage thing was when I was driving a forklift. The company fired two people in the boxing department and made me work in the new area covering both spots (I had to take my lunches on the line) and then a friend higher up slipped me an internal memo saying that they weren't going to hire anyone else since they could just have me do the same work. I confronted the factory manager about it and he refused to bump up my pay so I quit on the spot. After I left they filled the two spots again. I was pissed.

Who's old? I'm 23. Maybe older than you but that's not old. 2300 posts and you didn't know that ATOT rarely sympathizes with people? Sometimes hearing someone tell you to suck it up and do something about it is best. From what you've told us, its unlikely that you are just down on your luck.

eh? I've had shit jobs since I was 14. First I worked at Krogers (grocery store). They were very flexible with scheduling; just write down in their book when you wanted off, and I invariably got the time off. After that I worked at an amusement park, which sucked. Then I worked at GameStop, which had shitty pay, but I liked. They weren't as flexible as Kroger, but I could get a weekend off if I really wanted it.

Just find a big company, like Krogers, that has a lot of employees that also require flexible schedules. My supervisor at Krogers who was an absolunt wise and beautiful woman was usually willing to work something out. More flexibility = less important.

And maybe put a note on your resume to explain why you have had so many jobs in the past.

Or maybe just put the most recent 2 or 3 jobs on the resume and tell them that if they want a complete list, they should contact you.
