HELP!! Geforce 2 not recognizing red!! :( :(

So I got a second hard drive for Xmas, and I was happily installing it! To my disgust, when everything was booted back up, my Geforce 2 no longer knew what red looks like!!! Red now = Black to it.. I've made sure the video card is secure as well as the video cable on both ends. I've mucked with my monitor settings and reinstalled the Geforce 2 drivers, even though those shouldn't be the issue.. What's wrong???? Please help, my screen looks like puke and it makes my eyes hurt.. thanks so much.

More than likely it's not the video card. Sounds like you have one of three things going on. Either your video cable is not plugged in all the way, you bent a pin on the monitor cable, or your red gun on your monitor has gone out. Try checking it out with another monitor if possible. Hope this helps.

try with another video card as well - maybe you damaged it while installing.
