Hey, I just bought an *cough* AOpen GeForce2 MX400 64 MB card. I installed it fine, using the drivers that came with the box, and then later installed the latest Det. drivers from nvidia.com. But it thinks it has two moniters. I know this is with the drivers, but I can't go higher then 1024 x 768. It's really pissing me off! With my older Savage 4 PCI I could reach a high resoultion, and part of the reason why I bought this card was to upgrade and be able to achieve high resolution, at a high hertz. So if anyone can help me in anyway I would be greatly thankful!

Thanks again,
Nate.

I also tried using the Detonator drivers older then 6.50 (dual display goes away), but I can still only achieve 1024 x 768.

Perhaps you are using the second monitor out?
And that that's limited to 1024X768

Does the card have TV-Out or something? I'm just wondering where this second display is coming from. Maybe all MX cards show two displays by default, just because the chip is TwinView-capable.

I have a TwinView MX card (Leadtek) that doesn't exhibit any of these problems. I usually try the new drivers in both Win2K and WinME as they are released.
